About Karen's Care Agency Ltd

The Director, Karen Smith, has over 30 years' experience of caring in residential homes, hospitals and Dementia centres. She understands the importance of having somebody to talk to and is willing to share her knowledge in receiving and giving care.

The aim is to deliver high levels of care in the comfort of clients' own homes, offering practical and emotional support to those in need and their loved ones. Support may be for a couple of hours a week or around the clock care.

Care packages are person-centred and reviewed regularly so that support continues to meet the client's needs.

The philosophy is to encourage as much normal day-to-day living as possible, including previous or new hobbies and interests. Carers can accompany clients to hospital visits, doctor's appointments and social trips, and help organise medications and other arrangements as necessary.

The service is built around the small acts of kindness that can brighten someone's day, alongside the reliable routines and professional standards families need.

All carers are professionally trained and have experience in all areas of care, including specialist capabilities in Dementia care. Carers are vetted, including police checks, and have ongoing training.
